Chat is scheduled by different trainers at different times. If you are unsure
if your trainer is running a chat, please send her an email. Chats usually run
for one hour each session.
In each chat session at least one trainer will be in the room. They will remain there
for at least 30 minutes. If no-one appears, the trainer may log off. If a
student is in the chat room with them, the trainer will remain logged in to the
chat room for the full hour.
Chats may be advertised on the student website in the right hand column under
Upcoming Events. If you have logged on to the chat room at the time stated in
the Upcoming Events, and nobody is there, your timezone may be set incorrectly.
Timezones should automatically adjust for daylight savings time if you observe
daylight savings in your region. However, some states have more than one
timezone and we may have incorrectly set yours. To check your timezone, use the
following instructions:

Open the course that you are
enrolled in

Find the Administration box
on the left hand side of the page

Click on "Edit Profile"

Scroll down the page about
halfway and you will see the timezone box

Use the drop down list to
find your timezone

Once you have chosen the
correct timezone, click on the OK button further down the page
Your timezone should now be set correctly and the correct chat times should
now appear for your region.
