There are several different ways to keep in touch and network with other
students from all over the world. The first is to list your details with Study
Buddies. You can access Study Buddies
here (section 3). Study Buddies enables you to find other students who live
in the same area as you, have the same interests or lifestyle, the same number
of children etc. You can then keep in touch with each other to offer support,
encouragement and motivation.
In addition to Study Buddies we provide a email
list that you will be automatically subscribed to when you first register as a
student - it usually takes 1-4 days to be added to the list. You can also
request subscription at any time on
this page.
Once you have been added to the email list (CBIStudents) you will begin
receiving emails from others that post messages and information. You can reply
to the emails or write new posts and they will be automatically sent to everyone
else on the list. You will NOT receive any spam through this email list as it is
not open to the public.
CBI provides online messageboards to discuss issues that are relevant to you
and your training. When you registered as a student you have immediate access to
the messageboards. You can see the full list of messageboards
here. There are
boards on a number of subjects including regional boards, groups on different
religions, and a number of birth related topics. To read, reply or begin a new
topic of discussion on the messageboard you must be logged in to the student
website and click on the course pages entitled Message Board.
